We design and build custom treehouses to fit your vision and your property. Each house is unique, there are no two alike. Pictured here is a camp-inspired, cabin-like playhouse that was built into the side of a hill, replacing an older, dilapidated structure. Once we began building, we couldn't help but bridge it to the tree next to it, creating a "bird's nest" platform. This playhouse is meant for children but is big enough for adults as well. It has a clear, corrugated roof to let the sunlight in, a full deck surrounding the majority of the house, vinyl windows with screens, a playful, rustic striped floor, and is made complete by a screen door, just like the ones you'd have on your summer camp cabins. It's perfect for adventurous play, lazy mid-afternoon naps, and family camp-outs under the stars.
This treehouse was built in an overgrown, underutilized space in the backyard. The house was designed to rhyme with the main house in color and style. We matched the colors of the home and the pitch of the roof. We added a swing set component to it along with a custom-built timber staircase from one of the trees that we removed to make room for the new play area. We also added a birdhouse for the mother bird that kept trying to make a nest in the rafters of the treehouse as we were building. We topped it off with a tiny "elf staircase" to add enchantment and wonder. The wasted space in the backyard has now become a place of countless memories of childhood fun and family adventures.
